Japan Act on Protection of Personal Information (APPI)
Node Blendzone operates in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報の保護に関する法律), as amended in April 2022. As an entity providing business consulting services from our office at 〒460-0008 Aichi, Nagoya-shi, Naka-ku, Sakae 3-18-5, we are classified as a personal information handling business operator under the Act.
When you submit a request through our contact form or arrange advisory sessions, we process only the categories of data described in this policy. We do not transfer personal information to third parties without your prior consent except where required by Japanese law, where necessary for the protection of human life, health or property, or where cooperating with national or local government authorities carrying out affairs prescribed by law.
Under the APPI, you have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, or cessation of provision to third parties of your retained personal data. Records relating to consulting engagements are retained for 5 years following the conclusion of the consulting engagement, after which they are securely deleted. Cookie consent preferences are stored in your browser and may be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Node Blend Zone governing your use of this website and any services engaged through it. Please read them carefully.
By accessing this site or engaging Node Blend Zone's services, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you have the authority to do so on behalf of yourself or any organisation you represent.
1. User obligations and conduct

- 1.4 Use of the site is permitted to persons aged 18 or over. By using this site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
- 1.5 The site and services are intended for professional and business use. They are not intended as consumer services for personal, household, or family purposes.
2. User responsibilities
- 2.1 You are responsible for ensuring that any use you make of the site and its content complies with laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
- 2.2 You agree to indemnify Node Blend Zone against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions or from your use of the site in a manner not permitted by these terms.
- 2.3 Where you share personal data belonging to third parties through our contact form or otherwise, you confirm you have the appropriate authority to do so.
- 2.4 You acknowledge that information shared with Node Blend Zone during the course of an enquiry will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- 3.1 Disclaimer of warranties. The website is provided on an "as is" basis without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
- 3.2 Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Node Blend Zone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use this site.
- 3.3 Consequential damages. Node Blend Zone specifically excludes liability for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or any other form of consequential loss, even where Node Blend Zone was advised of the possibility of such loss.
- 3.4 Force majeure. Node Blend Zone shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or internet service disruption.
4. Governing law and dispute resolution
- 4.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to any conflict of law provisions.
- 4.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. Where negotiation does not resolve the matter, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Japanese courts.
- 4.3 Severability. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining terms shall continue in full force.
- 4.4 Modifications. Node Blend Zone may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on this page is the current version. Continued use of the site following a revision constitutes acceptance.
